Socials

Social channels are an opportunity to start a two-way conversation with your community and earn yourself some loyal brand fans (or better yet—customers). But the thing that makes people buy what you say, and what you sell, is—you guessed it—killer captions.

Below are some of the many brands I’ve shaped valuable online communities around.

Pause Fest

Pause Fest is the world’s largest creativity-infused business event and in 2019 they chose Hedgehog Agency to manage their content. As Lead Copywriter on the project, I was tasked with producing copy that would drive awareness, interest and sales.

We nailed this brief through a combination of sales pushes, speaker announcements, sponsor and speaker highlights, conversation starters and event spotlights.

Screenshots or it didn’t happen.

The Timber Yard

The Timber Yard is Melbourne’s premier event space and, as the Lead Copywriter on the job, I was tasked with turning their Facebook and Instagram accounts into channels that portrayed them as more than just a ritzy place to get sloshed on your eighteenth birthday.

This was achieved through a combination of user-generated content, professional posts and lifestyle features that ensured both channels were always popping with value.

Hedgehog Agency

As Barry says, it’s important to practice what you preach, which is why Hedgehog’s own social channels were as flash and fun as the ones we managed for our clients.

Using a combination of team member spotlights, service offering spruiks, client shoutouts and cheeky marketing memes, I was able to build an online brand that engaged with its community and wowed the pants off potential clients.

Prove it.

The MEET Co

Plant-based foods are having a real moment in Australian food culture at the moment, which is welcome news for MEET—an all-natural, Aussie-made, plant-based brand the Cyclone Creative team recently launched across socials.

With the aim of generating cut-through and distinction in a jam-packed market, our fresh strategy included serving layer upon layer of eye-catching, hunger-inducing social content across Facebook and Instagram that has seen them steadily carve out a delicious portion of the meat-alternative market.

See the good stuff.

But wait, there’s [heaps] more.

Other brands I’ve socialised include RMIT University, Great Ocean Road, Urban List, Meet Co, Huffy Bikes, Soul Burger, Carbar, MGC Derma, MGC Pharma, Town Basic, Hedgehog and Cyclone Creative.
